Dr. Sahar Nasr is the former Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation from 2015 to 2020.  Prior to joining the ministry, Dr. Nasr had 25 years of experience in the field of finance and investment. Previously Dr. Nasr was an economist at the World Bank in the Finance and Private Sector Department for the Middle East and North Africa region and the regional program manager for the Small and Medium Enterprises Finance Fund.

  Dr. Nasr is currently Senior Advisor to the Grand Iman of Al Azhar and Executive Director of the Zakat Fund.
